Fastest Growing Technology Companies by Deloitte & Touche
For Release after 9-27-99
PASADENA, Calif.-For the second consecutive
year, Tanner Research was named to the prestigious Deloitte
& Touche "Los Angeles Technology Fast 50" list,
a ranking of the 50 fastest-growing high-technology companies
in the area. A leading provider of microelectronic design
software, products, and services, Tanner Research was named
to the list in recognition of its outstanding growth over
the past five years.
Founder and CEO John Tanner attributes Tanner
Research's extraordinary growth to its ability to solve complex
microelectronics problems, and in doing so solve customer's
problems. "Integrated circuit technology changes with
extreme rapidity. This award validates our efforts to provide
electronic design automation software that resolves the complex
design challenges our customers confront. We use the software
ourselves and we remain committed to the core research from
which it was developed. We're proud of this award and the
consistent level of achievement it represents."
The rankings are based on a company's percentage
of growth in revenues in the five years from 1994-1998. To
be eligible for the Los Angeles Technology Fast 50, companies
must have had revenues of at least $50,000 in 1994 and at
least $1,000,000 in 1998; must be headquartered in the area;
and must be "technology companies" - defined as
companies that produce technology, manufacture a technology
